This year is looking a little more promising than the past few. As long as we have a good run with injuries how do you rate Essendon's chances this year?

I'm not claiming Essendon to be a champion team that will blitz the comp this year and I know it's early. I was just saying that they are looking better with the new playing list and (hopefully) less injuries.
By the way Wayne, is your surname Ker?

The question is probably irrelevant in the second week of February, the game was basically an excuse for a pre- season practice match, and to showcase the great talents of the indigenous AFL players as a "team". Essendon is a strong ,proud and well run footy club, and to see them as final 8 contenders in 2007 would be great for the club and their supporters, after a couple of disappointing seasons !

Have you heard of February champions. Who cares if they beat a team that don't normally train or play together. Essendon were ordinary last year and nothing much has changed on their list to change that. Luckily you have the messiah (sheedy) to spin crap and suck you Essendon supporters into thinking your in with a chance every pre season. Enjoy your wins in season 2007, both of them!!!!!!!!

how good? you basically beat your selves with six of the indigenous side coming from essendon,
don't rate pre-season games too highly remember what happened to carlton and geelong in previous years when they won the nab comp they both finished out of the finals.
