There was an X-Files episode where they go to a prison to talk with this guy that killed an entire family, and he can remote view and allow spirits to enter his body and talk through him. He's on death row and trying to make a deal with them. He's completely creepy-psycho, and freaks Skully out by singing "Somewhere Beyond The Sea" to her as she's walking out of the room, which is the song that they played at her father's funeral. She thinks he's letting her dad talk through him. He also calls her Buttercup or whatever it was her dad used to call her. Mulder gets shot in this episode too, by a big white cross down by the docks, after he specifically told Mulder to "stay away from the big white cross" hours before, if that rings a bell. The whole point is, I really like the actor that played the psycho and wanted to know who he was and what else he's been in. I know I've seen him a couple other places but I just can't figure out! If anyone can let me know that'd be awesome, thanks!

Yes, Brad Dourif is the actor in question. He's been around a long time, check his imdb page. He played a young mental patient in "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest", I can also recall him as bizarre exterminator in a crappy Stephen King movie abot giant rats in a paper mill ("Graveyard Shift"). He was the killer in "Child's Play" and provided the voice of Chucky in all the films, right up to 2004's "Seed Of Chucky". Most recently he's playing the intensely grumpy "Doc" on HBO's "Deadwood", where he's very good. Not really a psycho, but allusions were made to the character's (decidely creepy) habit of grave robbing. Dourif manages to make plausible the idea that a fierce desire to learn how to save lives was the motivation, rather than pure ghoulishness. I really think "Deadwood" is his best work and it's one of the best shows I've seen. Can't wait for more episodes.

His name is Brad Dourif. He played Luther Lee Boggs in the episode Beyond the Sea, season two. You've probably remember him from Lord of the Rings, if you've seen it. He played Grima Wormtongue in the second movie two towers. The creepy guy who liked that blonde girl, Eowyn. I hope that helped. you can get a list of all the movies that he's been in on IMDB(http://imdb.com/name/nm0000374/).
