sources of water are oceans, lakes, the underground water table, rivers, glaciers etc. desert plants have special adaptation. they have a waxy layer on their leaves which reduces transpiration and helps them to conserve water. they also have well developed root system to find water. same goes with animals too. they have adaptations like padded feet and water storage like camels. etc. i hope this helped.

THE MAIN SOURCE OF WATER IS RAIN.THE OTHER SOURCES ARE SEAS,RIVERS,LAKES,PONDS AND WELLS.IN THE DESERT REGIONS PLANTS HAVE THE ABILITY TO STORE WATER FOR MUCH LONGER TIME. THIS IS BECAUSE THE PLANTS IN THE DESERTS HAVE A COVERING OF WAX.THE ANIMAL IN THE DESERTS ARE COOL BLOODED. THE ANIMALS HERE DUG THE GROUND AND STAY THERE.IT IS VERY COOL IN THE GROUND. AT NIGHT THE ATMOSPHERE GETS COOI.THERE ARE MILD RAINS ALSO ONCE IN A WHILE IN DESERTS.

- source of water- marine, fresh water
in dessert-there is the oasis and a bit of ground water...too deep down.
dessert plants'n animals' main statergy is conserving whatever water is already available in their body.
pts have long tap roots, modified stems and leaves to reduce the amt of water lost through evaporation....similarly the animals ,camel for eg can live for days without water.
