I was concerned about my private jet travel and wahtnot...I wanted to offset it so I did.

the use of "And whatnot" is like using "et cetera" or "And whatever" it's an all encompassing phrase meaning pretty much "the other things, more things, things I cannot or don't feel like describing"

It's an American Idiomatic expression.

In the sentence that you gave it means that the person was concerned about his private jet travel and either other forms of travel or the rest of his vacation, or his usage of his jet travel and it's effect on purse of environment.

Perhaps next time add a little bit more context. Have a good one.
