Phantom of the Opera. I love dark, tragic novels, and I love romances. Phantom is both! I just fell in love with it the first time I read it, and I don't really know why. It just stayed with me. Not to mention I love Erik and the Persian. They are marvelous characters! I also love the style in which Leroux wrote the novel. It's a fantastic book.
