A dork is someone who is some what socially inept. This is usually in the minds of others who often have different agendas when "judging" the so called "dork". It is often an unjustly deserved derogatory label and really means the person has different areas of interest to those giving the label

I use the word as a term of endearment for silly people I like though its meaning = whale penis... or so I have been informed.
