Just forget about everything! As things happen which may seem stressful and tense, ask yourself: How will this effect me in 1 year, month, or even day?? Chances are it won't, so don't fret!

I don't think that any human being can be free of all tensions and worries of life and always be happy. Some people do a lot better than others, though.
Things that might help would be:
going on a retreat (religious or non-religious)
taking a vacation (or mini-vacations on weekends)
practicing meditation
seeing a great therapist
eating and sleeping right
getting enough fresh air and exercise
having a hobby that one truly enjoys
letting go of stressors in life (even if that means moving or changing jobs).

Everyone encounters times in their life that are stressful and worrisome. I'm not sure it's possible to be happy all the time. I think you can be happy with yourself as a person no matter what's going on in your life, but that doesn't mean you will always feel happy. Some things will just get to you, like the death of someone close to you or losing your health, etc. We can strive for personal inner happiness and if we reach that, I think it's the best we can do.

Nirvana--freedom from all worry and tension, perpetual happiness! Ah, how we all wish to attain that wonderful spiritual plane. Unfortunately, the only way I know to truly achieve that wonderful state, is to die and go to heaven. But there's the rub--to go to heaven, you must live a good life. And committing suicide doesn't work here. You have to live out your allotted life-span, and then you will be rewarded, after living a good life, with that wonderful state of nirvana! Happy living!!!
On the other hand, you can live a happy life, by chosing to be happy. As one of the most depressed people I have ever known, I have chosen to become happy and it works. It is a daily and moment-by-moment decision. Try it. You may find it works for you, too.

Being happy ALL the time in a human impossibility. We need uncomfortable feelings to remind us what happy is. If 100% happiness was the "norm", we we be nothing more than a bunch of robots. How we handle the uncomfortable feelings makes us who we are. Do we deal with the negative feelings, or do we hide from them. How we deal with the negative decides if we are among the strong, or the weak. Trust me...Happy is overrated.

1.To move any thing as per desire, friction is required where as without friction movement is infinite ( can be assumed)similarly if you want to develop yourself as per desired level then tention is bound to happen so accept the tension heartly. Tension free are only those who are lying grave.
