When a player in the NFL makes a "football" move and drops the ball out of bounds, thus fumbling. Isnt it almost just like they ran out the bounds because they keep possesion, the clock stops, and they get the yardage. Also is their a penalty for intentionally doing this?

A Simple "yes" or "no" will do. This is a bet.

I don't believe that the NFL or college football has jurisdiction over whether a player "intentionally" hit a fumbled ball out of bounds, but I could be wrong. Whenever any player fumbles and it is knocked out of bounds by any player, no matter if on offense or defense, the team on offense receives the ball back and loses a down, unless the ball passed the 1st down marker on the way out of bounds, in which they will be awarded the 1st down.

If the ball moves forward and goes out of bounds, the ball is spotted at the place of the fumble, not where it went out of bounds. The ball itself cannot gain yardage. If it moves backwards, it is spotted where it went out of bounds. Possession remains with whoever had the ball last (unless the fumble is in the end zone).

No penalty.

There is a penalty for this is if a player intentionally does this to stop the clock. If they were trying to get out of bounds to stop the clock, and didn't make it so they "fumbled" the ball out of bounce there is a penalty, and the clock does not stop

Possession is kept, the clock stops, and the ball is positioned where it was when the player lost it. No penalty.
