Well you have to watch who you buy your batteries from. Also when you buy a battery for your cell phone it must be the same type. Not one tht fits in the phone, because though it may fit in the connector may not be the same. You did not say what phone you had or how long you have had it. If it was a new one, you fully charge it, and then it loses power 12 hours later, then that is different from having a phone for 2 years and the battery dies down.

Anyway, make sure you get the exact same model of battery. Also, always make sure when you buy anything that if it does not work can you get a refund. Those cheap batteries they sell sometimes are the rejects from the cell phone battery manufacturer and the company that buys it may try to sell it as original too. They do that on computer memory too. You will learn eventually.

Talk also to your cell phone service technician.

check if you are using the right battery. there are many different types of phone batteries. also buy the exact same battery as your phone first came with. dont buy all the ones that say like extended power and stuff
