why democrats are tough on chinese?

if democrats have the "marxist" tendencies i.e. equal distribution of wealth, punity for excessive wealth; then why they are so hard on china?

Democrats don't want to equally distribute the wealth exactly, they want the system to be more fair, they want to maintain a middle class instead of having the very poor, and the very rich, the way to do this is to make sure the blue collar workers in America can earn enough to live a reasonably good life and maybe save a little, or if they work hard the ability to start a business themselves and become rich, in China they have a two class system and the average workers gets paid very little so when these products come into America they seem very cheap, American companies can't compete unless they lower their wages, so Americans earn less. Democrats want to protect the American labor force by imposing tariffs on Chinese goods
