I really like this one guy that I've known for about 2 years now [almost 3] and we're really close friends. I want to tell him, but the thing is, I know for a fact that he likes my friend, and my friend likes him back because they both trust me and they talk about each other all the time to me.
He's a really great guy. He's super cute, extremely nice, an amazing musician, smart [but doesn't try], and athletic. The thing is, he's a tad bit emo(ish) and has had a hard life.
What should I do?
~Tell him I like him.
~Don't tell him and be happy for the both of them because they're both my friends.
~Or anything else you guys can think of.

I forgot to put things that are probably pretty important:
My friend who likes him too knows I like him, but I don't know if she really cares that I do or not.
And they know that they like each other, but they won't go out.

If friendship is more important to you, then don't potentially loose your friend over a guy, and/or this guy's friendship. Specially if he likes your friend.
If you feel that the guy is really worth the risk, then go for #1.

There is nothing better than being IN LOVE. You have to ask yourself 2 questions. 1-are you IN LOVE with this guy or do you just like him. 2- do you love your friend. If you just like the guy you should hold back and let your two friend's relationship run its course. They may end up parting ways. If you love your friend you should respect her feelings and remain just friends to both. If you really are IN LOVE with the guy you should chance it. Do you know enough about the guy to answer question 1. You described his hobbies not his character and its his character that will help sustain a relationship.

If you trust your friend enough to not be a pissy little *****, then talk to her about it. Maybe she'll encourage you to get on that. Maybe not. It's a sticky situation. Don't let a guy come between your friendship if it means that much to you. If not, go for it. Trust your instint, if it all goes wrong, you learned something I guess? Take a risk, honey.

in my opinion frndship is gr8er then anything else in this world .so if u dont tell u get 2 good frnds for a life time and if u tell u may be left with nothing!!

does that strike you as odd? it should. you should not tell him you like him. if he is emo-ish, as you say, he will not be able to handle the happiness that comes from being liked. let him date your friend and see how he treats her. if he treats her poorly, you will have avoided being treated poorly by him. if he treats her well, you can try to steal him.

i feel u have a good friends circle. and those 2 good friends who trust u.
u like that guy. u want to tell him. but ur friend and he r in love.
i would better say, don't lose ur friends for ur love.
if u think he likes u better than ur friend, go approach him and tell him what u feel. if he says yes, its ur luck. if he says no, u ask if u can be his friend still.
do wat u feel. don't look upon our answers.
either u lose ur love for ur friends,
or u lose ur friends for ur love.

Who liked him first, if it was your friend let her have free reign, if you liked him first tell her to make a move or he's fair game!
