No it doesn't. Its like pricking your finger. You will be red for awhile though.

Actually this question really applies well to me. I just got my eyebrows waxed for the first time exactly a week ago.
Since my friend has already been to the place where I got my eyebrows done, she told them to press on the placed they just waxed. Because the lady's hands were cold when she finished waxing, the reaction wasn't as bad.
Although it seems to be painful, once you get used to it; it doesn't hurt that much. They do get red though, but don't worry too much about it. Get some aloe and it gets better.

yes, but briefly.... and when you get your eyebrows waxed for the 50th time it hurts still, but briefly. I also get the urge to sneeze and its very annoying.

yeah....and you get used to it after a while...like one person said- the pain never goes away, but you do learn to deal with it.
personally though, i get my eyebrows threaded. it's much more sanitary and you can get a nicer shape for pretty much the same price. cheaper in some places. :)

Weird enough... I find it relaxing. Just pick the right place. One with a comfortable bed, relaxing music and calming scents. Also don't do it around your period time. I guess it can cause more sensitivity than normal.

I have never gotten them waxed, but my friend's sister got herpes on her forehead cuz of the waxing. U know how they use the same wax for everyone? it got her herpes. =[

Yes will will hurt but it goes away and they will put aloe on them after wards which helps...

oh it never stops being uncomfortable. You get used to it... but its never pleasant
