There are a few people pushing rogue products in here that have multiple accounts. One is to ask the question, the other is to suggest one of the rogue products and then have the question asker account select that as the "Best Answer".

Good point, Rosco I have been seeing these links chosen to as the "best answer" to questions that show the person has a Zlob/Smitfraud infection.

http://www.adwareaway.net/assureprotection.htm

http://www.spynomore.com/assureprotection-com.htm

http://www.nosnoopware.com/spyware/remove/antivermins.htm

These answers are chosen above free and proven removal methods used by security professional throughout various reputable and free malware removal forums that stand nothing to gain by the products they recommend. The people posting the question and picking the above links as the best answer are clearly part of a scam.

The 3 links I posted above are to paid programs that will be of little to no benefit in removing a Zlob/Smitfraud infection. This is clearly a scam orchestrated to take advantage of people that have already been victimized with an infection. Why not kick them while they are down and take their money too. If people see it chosen as the best answer, with the asker saying it works, any person with that infection that sees the example will actually believe it does and possibly purchase the products listed in these links

There are in fact FREE and EFFECTIVE tools like Smitfraudfix:

http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.php

And scanners like SUPERAntiSpyware:

http://www.superantispyware.com

that ACTUALLY DO REMOVE these infections.

With deceptive advertising practices like this, the products need to be listed or re-listed in some cases to the Spyware Warrior list of Rogue/Suspect AntiSpyware apps.

I'm collecting links to your scamming like this one...

it is basically like the "cure-all medicines" of late 19th- early 20th century, where supposedly "a stranger" that was passing by the wagon, would say "wow, the medicine works"

it is sad to see that, and also very sad the people who write that Norton is the best anti-virus program around

Apparently Yahoo is powerless to wipeout/freeze their IP address to stop these bots...
Wonder why?

They should stop. If found they should be reported and yahoo should pull the listings and accounts.
