My cats love to lay on my feet when I'm on the computer. I had a dog do it once, too.

Mine curls up near my neck whilst I'm napping or reading a book. She likes it there...and I see it as bonding time. She was a stray [cat] and really can't stand people too close to her but she can't be away from me whilst we're in the same room.

Not only does she (dog) lay on my feet, but she follows me everywhere. The cat sleeps on the bed by my head. Sometimes they both get annoying, but I love them...:)

My dog is Mr.Pippin and the cutest little dogie you have ever seen. Anyway, Mr.Pippin has me hold him like a baby when he first goes to sleep and eventually is at my feet. However, later he gets up and goes to his bed for a while, and later to the chair that is made just as he likes it. When the sofa is available, he wants his heavy sweater placed unwrinkled on the cushion and he sleeps there for a while. Mr.Pippin is not spoiled but is given his every need.

My dog is to big to fit under my computer desk but she is right here in the room with me. She loves to be right with me all the time, most of the time I don't mind but there are times when I'm in a hurry and she gets in my way but you know it's just cause she loves ya

Yes, my cat used to sleep all curled up at/on my feet everynight. I saw it as a bonding thing. (He recently passed away hence the past tense)

aw, yes my dog does that and its so cute cuz he's this big goofball...he'll sit on your feet the kind just slowly turn his head and look at you and you cant help but laugh....i find it as a bonding thing...plus i like it cuz he keeps my feet warm :D.
kinda nice to know im not the only one who has a pet who does that.

I LOVE my 80lb, 4-legged foot warmer. He only does it when I'm sitting on the couch. When I go to bed he has to sleep next to me with his head on the pillow.
He was abandoned as a puppy and I'm the only "mommy" he's ever known. I like to think of it as bonding, and tonight we celebrated his 8th birthday.

My cats are my shadow; at night, one will sleep on the rug next to me, and the other one has her favorite spot on my side of the bed (she stays away from my boyfriend's side!) If I'm reading on the couch, both of them will be snoozing on the backrest. They are the coolest, and I love them.
