Depends on where you live. I used to live in southern California, and there was a mobile auto glass company that replaced windshields right at your place of business or your home. Many windshields cost in the range of $100 from this company, while other auto repair shops charged $400 and up for the same thing. Make a few phone calls via your yellow pages to get an idea.

Rear Windshield Replacement Cost

That all depends on whether the rear window has a defroster. Just a plain rear window is about a hundred. Replacing one that has a rear window defroster is more likely like 600.

Depends on the car, if it has weird cuts or a lot of curve, it will be more expensive. Plus some cars have similar or the same shape and size windows,if so the price will be less. if it is mass produced it will be cheaper. Do you want bulletproff? double the price if not more. Porsche..........up to $ 2200 CAN...Easy........89 Tempo $125 CAN. And no I dont work at Apple Auto Glass.

It's an older car, so the glass won't be too much. Check your local junk yard. You might find it for $50 or so. Then either put it in yourself or find someone to do it for you, maybe from a local trade school or your mechanic might moonlight on the weekend for a six-pack and sandwich.

It will definitely be more than $100. The price can be from $350 to thousands. It depends on the size, if you want it with the rear defrost on it (which most cars have now), and if you buy new or used.

You could replace it. It will cost lots of money but have no effect on your insurance. You will need to use Autoglass or a similar company. Expect it to cost north of £500 as you wont get the discount that the insurers get when you claim for accident glass damage
