This is the subject of much investigation by astronomers; the jury is definitely still out. Discoveries of dark matter and the like are complicating the physics.

It is tough to figure how it could end,but it must be a reduction in the pressure of space.
The speed of light would prevent it from collapsing it would lack information required to reverse it's course.
It must reach a maximum size then ,probably, with the evolution of neutron stars, fades out of existence.
Once the first space-time pulse ,that initiated the universe stops, this will begin the demise of the universe.

Is that guy crazy today bigbang is the only theory which explains exactly about the formation of the universe. you asked agood question but the universe expands but not contracts and it cannot because of the space-time curvatue (only if it expands) the galaxies will all be dispersed in hte space so there exists no universe at all.

The universe will just keep expanding. There is no beginning or end, it'll just keep expanding until long after we're gone and millions and billions of trillion years later!

Nope. Current cosmological thinking is that so-called 'dark energy' is causing the universe to fly apart at an accelerating rate.

Its not expanding and its impossible to even tell it if is so don't worry too much about the universe collapsing cause its never gonna happen and if it does I doubt you will be alive to see it happen

The current thinking is that the universe will expand forever.

These things are all just theories. No one knows but God. It is far more important to know who to ask, in this case God, than it it to know the answer. You can find Him in the Bible.
