I'm a songwriter and i wanted to know how do i go about ownig my on publishings.

The law is extremely complicated but in very basic terms:

A 'copyright' is awarded for writing the song. 'Publishing' rights are granted to whomever distributes the song, be it recorded tracks, sheet music, whatever...
So in order to be a publisher, you need to distribute your songs without any outside assistance. If you do so, you own the publishing rights to your songs; the only way you cannot own them is if you sign them away to someone else.

They'll do one song, or a whole album/CD for $99.00 depending on how many people might be involved with the writing of the songs.
