Is it true that this coming fall, they're adding a new cast member to the show?

Adam Beach, a Canadian actor. He is also a native Indian, not that that has anything to do with anything, just trying to make him more identifiable to you, if you don't know him. He was in Flags of our father and a movie with Nicholas Cage a few years ago.
Anyway, he guestarred in an episode ago, as a Brooklyn cop tracking a murderer/rapist. I have not been watching for a while, so I don't know if they are getting rid of a cast member.
