Quite often, couples renew their wedding vows on the 10th anniversary. Other popular milestones for vow renewing are on the 25th, or the 50th (this is when all of the kids, grands, great-grands are usually apart of the ceremony). Good Luck.

My husband and I renewed our vows when he returned from Iraq. We never got to have a real wedding and we were celebrating our family being whole again, We had been married 5 years at the time. I think when you renew your vows, it should be because you want to celebrate your marriage.

My wife and I see no reason to renew our vows. We each made promises to the other when we married and we keep those promises every day. Why renew something that is still current and not broken?

Weren't the first ones meant to last forever. At least that's what women on these forums rant and rave about.

Thus there is no need. That's like saying, should we go ahead and jump off the cliff, when you are already falling after jumping off the first time.

Its redundant and unnecessary.
