I heard there was a game for the NES system based on the Jim Henson movie I cant seem to find much information about it. I would really like to own a copy of it! Ive checked ebay and local game stores but havent had any luck.

Developed and published by Activision, Labyrinth was a pretty small run (less than 15,000), so it might be a little hard to find. I suggest keeping an eye on eBay for a copy. You can also try one of the Game Trading communities.

Until you find a copy, there are ROMs of the game floating around (perhaps even at one of the links below).

I remmember that movie and video game.

Are you computer savvy? If so go investigate ROMS and emulators. You can play it on your computer.
