Me and my husband have been ttc since aug and nothing. My real question is not how to conceive but is thier anything i can take to regulate my period so i have a better chance, other than the pill? I am already 2weeks and 4 days late and this is the longest its ever been. I have already taken 2 at home tests and both did not work (they will not take it accuratly) so im going to the drs on wednesday but i would like to be able to go in and ask about something to regulate my period but not change my chances of conceiving. Any ideas i would appreciate!

Talk it over with your doctor (if you are not pregnant).

Depending on your age, they like to wait until you have been trying for at least a year. In the meantime, you can start charting your BBT. My doctor had me do that after trying, unsuccessfully for six months. This helped her decide what course to take next, which was to see a specialist.

I am in the same situation I've been ttc since November 2006; my periods have been irregular and no signs of pregnancy yet. at the beginning i was really excited i thought I was going to conceive as soon as I had my IUD removed but, Nope! then I started to get stressed about it, that was making me really moody...so now I'm just taking it easy... i guess you should do the same the less you worry about the more relax you are and when you least expected you'll be pregnant. Wish you the best.....

I feel sorry for your. My wife got the same problem too. I come to a conclusion that it actual come STRESS! We are so Elgar to have kids, we try EAST and then WEST, Doctors, I mean! No luck at all, She can't relax her. Her offices' work load and the worries for having a child, all these is making her crazy? We finally given up hope, since she can't manage her stress problems. So my advise is that you check it with your doctor with your husband and relax,Keep cool, don't stress yourself. Let nature take it own course!

First off, let me say that i think you are doing the right thing by going to the dr. There may be a simple answer to your problems but sometimes the dr is the one to know those things. There are drugs that your dr can give you but he will need to determine why you are irregular. If it is due to ovulation there are drugs like clomid that will regualte ovulation. You have taken the first and most important step. Keep a positive attitude. Good Luck!!!!!
