Isn't it cute how little kids say they want to be firemen when they grow up, for example?

When I was real young I wanted to be a movie star or dancer. When I got a little older I wanted to be a nurse. When I grew up I was a house wife and mother. When They grew up I became a CNA.. Then I decided I wanted to be a teacher and now I am a substitute Teacher.. What a great country we live in (USA) that we can be what we want to be.. Interesting question :)

yeah i think its cute. i alwasy said i wanted to be a actress and a mommy, still do.
i found this old pre k thing of me and my cousins class and the teahcer asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up.
some kids like u said put fireman , policemen, ballerina, etc. This was in the 90's so power rangers were the thing and my cousin said he wanted to be the green turbo power ranger..??? i just think thast so funny, we also said at one point that we were going to be super heros and save people and i would make the costumes......lol good times, good times...

I wanted to be Princess Leia or an archeologist like Indiana Jones. I also considered being an oceanographer. I ended up working for Social Services & love it!

I really thought that being an exotic dancer was the thing to do. Too bad I grew up cute but short!

I wanted to be a Cypress Gardens girl, (one of the Bells) at the Cypress Gardens theme park in FL..or a Vet....I work at Cypress Gardens

When I was really small, I said I wanted to be a nurse, but then I changed it to wanting to be a manga artist [and I still do haha].

I haven't heard a kid say they wanted to be a fireman or a nurse or something along those lines in a long time. All they want to be now is rock stars and athletes.
It's very depressing.

I was never asked. Girls were never asked. It was presumed that I would marry, have kids and, well, that is all. But I had other ideas and I did marry, but no kids. I chose a career.
