You'll need to have both or just glasses.

You can't only have contacts, cause it is not good to sleep with them night after night. You will need to have a pair of glasses in addition to your contacts.

At times contacts are better because you can actualy see better with them, safer for sports, and it is easier to wear sun glasses when you have contacts. But during long working days, glasses are better cause contacts get dried out and make your eyes feel tired.

Get both and mainly wear contacts, and switch to glasses when you eyes get red.

i wear glasses. I am hoping to soon get contacts. Socially i feel sometimes left out because a lot of people have either 20/20 vision or contacts.

contacts - I remember the first time the contact specialist put them in my eye. I thought I was cured. i wore glasses for a long time before I used contacts.

Of course you need to take good care of them and wash them if necessary, and properly clean and store them. Sometimes you'll get an eye infection, but it's pretty rare. Just take good care of yourself and you'll be able to avoid this. The cost depends on which kind you get. So I'd have to say it varies. You really need to talk to a contact specialist. He or she will be at your eye doctors. Socially, I don't think glasses or contacts matter. some glasses can look really stylish.

Social- contacts, but if you get cool glasses, that's fine
health- either one, as long as you use contacts properly
disease- again, either one, as long as you use contacts properly
cost- glasses probably cost less

I'm a contacts fan, but get the disposable kind that you throw away every month or so. That'll help your eyes as far as health is concerned.

i prefer contacts. but it depends what youre doing.

its annoying when you get a smudge on your glasses and have nothing to clean it with.
& using a tissue or your shirt just makes it worse.

but sometimes your eyes need a break from the contacts so its important to have a back up pair of glasses if you choose to get contacts.

For persons with genuine eye-problems, contact lenses are best, because the closer to the eyes, the better, and contact lenses rest exactly on the eyes.

i love contacts! especially when i'm playing sports. glasses get in the way sometimes. but when i'm lazy and my eyes are tired-then glasses are great.

check with your optometrist about costs.

Well I can't say for sure but I like contacts alot because they don't get in the way that much ,but you have to pay extra attention to not get them dirty. I hope that helps :)
