I own an LLC and currently have a contract with a company that pays my LLC as a corp-1099 for a contract position that I hold. Right now I am the only employee of the LLC. Would this company also pay my LLC for another employee who is interested to work through my company if I find a position for him?

Sure! An llc is just like any other company as far as employment is concerned. You could hire employees, set up benefits, whatever. The vendor could still write the check to your llc and you would then be responsible for payroll, workman's comp, etc.

Going from owner to owner/employer is a big change. Make sure you document everything, have all the required insurance and contracts, etc. Then, hire away!
