With major legal issues undecided, Anna Nicole Smith's legacy could take years to untangle and could leave her baby daughter with millions of dollars or nothing at all.

Smith's battle over her late husband J. Howard Marshall II's oil fortune with the family of his son grinds on in Texas. And there is a pending class action suit seeking unspecified damages against Smith and TrimSpa Inc., alleging the company's marketing of a weight-loss pill with Smith as spokeswoman was false and misleading.

A judge on Friday refused to order an emergency DNA test on Smith as part of a paternity suit involving her infant daughter, but he ordered that her body be preserved until a hearing Feb. 20, attorneys said.

Two men are contesting the paternity of 5-month-old daughter Dannielynn, and experts say the custody decision could determine the child's inheritance.

Smith, a former Playboy playmate and tabloid fixture, died Thursday after collapsing at a Florida hotel. She was 39.

They were still settling it, I believe. A judge entitled her to something in the ten millions, but a federal judge lowered it, and they're still settling it. She's died so she doesn't need or want the money, she can't even speak!

No, the legal machinations were still ongoing.

By the way, they will CONTINUE to be fought
as long as she has estate lawyers and/or
relatives.

That is, her estate would be the recipient
of part of his estate if she won.
