I had a miscarrige Jan 24th. I went to the Dr. yesterday and he said it would be safe to TTC after my next cycle (which I'm expecting the end of the month). My Question is how long did it take you to get PG after a miscarriage? Was tha baby OK (did u carry to term, No birth defects...)

I miscarried June 16. 2006 - doctors do suggest waiting until one full cycle to complete but I found out it is possible to become pregnant right afterwards- i am currently 33 weeks prenant - I got pregnant about a week and a half after that miscarriage- VERY unexpected though - the baby is fine and the only problem I am having is with my blood pressure which may result in early delivery (it's hereditary though - mother -grandmother both had toxemia) they say there are no problems with the pregnancy that stem from becoming pregnant too early- but just to add that the miscarriage occured when i was only about 5 1/2 wks into it - it takes longer for your body to recover if you were further along - - no signs of any problems with the baby they have done a million tests (defects, etc.) it IS generally safest to wait a full cycle though - and it can take a while to get a period again (my aunt miscarried 3 times in a row - each time it took almost 6 weeks for her cycle to start) but don't fret - she has a beautiful baby girl now ( got pregnant right after her first cycle after miscarriage)and is pregnant yet again and doing just fine

I have had 3 miscarriages (all in a row) it took 6 months after my first one to get pregnant, then 2 months after my second, and 1 month after my third. My fourth pregnancy was my son, totally healthy, and it was a normal pregnancy. I am currently 6 months with my fifth pregnancy (a baby girl). The doctor put me on progesterone because of a hormone deficiency. The miscarriages were hard but totally worth it when you have your baby!! Keep positive, and never lose hope!!! Good Luck

That's to quickly. Give your frame a leisure. I had two misses many years in the past and the advice then used to be to attend a least 6 mo earlier than attempting once more. Your frame simply went by way of a primary difference. You would possibly not think susceptible however your frame is. If you attempt to get pregnant after simplest two wks of a omit, you would free this one too. Give your self time to heal within. You gets pregnant once more, however leisure for a whilst. OK.
