Just to let you know, im not worried about the value because these coins arent really worth anything, there just from other countries. I just want to display them so they look cool.

First of all just because it is a world coin, don't get the idea it is worthless. There are a lot of rare world coins out there. I have several, that are worth a lot of money. You do not clean coins period. If you have so little respect for them and your dad, give them to someone who cares. If he held on to them without cleaning them, then they meant something to him. Do the right thing and live with the toning on the coins.

Seriously this may sound wierd but drop them in some coca cola for a couple of days. Make sure you rotate the bottle or stir the coins around. It will shine it right up and only costs a couple of dollars for enough to use. Otherwise I would suggest jewelry cleaner but it isn't as effective. Coins are so cool to look at, personally I collect wheat back and old silver coins. I even have a couple of steel pennies.

You do nothing to shine the coins--it lessons their value and destroys the panteen. Take them as is to a collector to find out their value. And handle them very little in the time being.
