I am debating on what is better. When you hang out a load of washing, do you bring the wash basket back to the laundry or leave it by the clothesline?

Isn't it extra work to take it back as you will need to bring it out again when you bring the washing in? On the other hand sometimes the wind makes the basket blow across the backyard so you have to go and get it anyway... only sometimes. What do you think is better? To bring it in or not?

If the wind is blowing that hard, especially, to leave the basket outside would invite dust/dirt settling into the basket - not great on a white shirt. I'd bring it in - also, the neighbor kids wouldn't be able to carry it of for their games.

If the wind is blowing hard enough to send it flying over the lawn then bring it in. If it's fairly calm leave it out there.

It must be nice to live a life devoid of problems, so that one can have a problem with a wash basket.
