It's possible but usually results in losing a friend ,because you cannot go back after being involved with each other in a relationship :)

The possibilities are good. The question is do you want to sacrifice a good platonic relationship. How sure are you the love relationship will work? Talk it over with each other first and be adults about the situation.

I have only one platonic relationship that has lasted for 25 years...he and I decided when we first met and got along so well to not take the chance of 'screwing' it up and it is still the best of friendships! Yes, it can happen but both parties must have strong structural innards!
