Health wise, waiting a year would be good. How easy it is, maybe 2-3 yrs. My duaghter is almost exactly 3 yrs older than my son. It worked out good for me. He's 21/2 and she's 5 1/2. They play together and my daughter can help some with him when I need it.

Between my first child and my second there was 2yrs and 8mths .. Between my second and my third child there is 21 months.
Ideally it should when you feel the time is right to have another baby.
Alot of people say 2-3yrs but some later and some sooner.
Good Luck!!

Our first two children are 5.5 years apart. It works out great for us because when our second was born, the older child was able to "help out" a little bit by getting mommy water and diapers for the baby, all in exchange for a dime. She really enjoyed being a big help and earning a little money!
And as they grow, she is a "teacher" to him and wants to help him with things, from putting juice in a cup with him, to teaching him the alphabet when he was 3 years old, teaching him to rollerskate and ride a bike. It is also because of this that they are both able to play well with children of any age!

I think about a year and a halt to two years. This way all of the really hard and time consuming stuff is done with your first and you have a good hadle on their schedule. Hopefully you will be able to fit the next one right into the routine! Good Luck

I have 7 years 9 months between ours. It's working well. The older shares an incredible bond with the little one. It's awesome to watch them. I'm not saying this is best, but it works for us.

We were aiming for about 18 months - 2 years. My sister and I are only 20 months apart and very close, so I want that for my kids.

I say about three to four years..you need to make sure the first one is fully potty trained and in preschool before another.
