Blotting papers are my absolute favorite. I buy ones from Clean and Clear because they work and they're within my budget. Sometimes I also buy what's called rice paper, it's like powdered papers. They are sold at beauty supply stores.

You can also use a mattifier under your makeup to keep oil at bay. Almay Pore Minimizer is one of the products.

Was your face with products made for oily skin- morning and night. Do use a moisturizer, just make sure it is oil free and non comodegenic (meaning- does not clog pores) you can also try using witch hazel as a toner- it has a drying effect. Witch hazel is available in most drug stores and it's pretty cheap. Instead of face powder use those little blotting papers, they absorb oils without adding stuff to your face, They Body Shop sells really good ones, you can also find them at Sephora.

Here are few tips to avoid oily skin-

* Wash your face daily 4 to 6 times with cold water.
* Mix milk(unboiled/fresh) with basin and apply it on your face as a pack, twice daily. After it gets dry, wash it away.
* Wash your face compulsorily, before you go to bed.
*Do not use soap at all, to wash your face. Instead use face wash or basin, when ever you wash your face.

i have oily skin too, and i LOVE the biore cleansing cloths. they come in a neat little box that you can toss in your purse and they actually smell pretty good too. :)

(also, i use the oil free face wash by Neutrogena and that seems to help)

Differin! It works to dry out your skin, even if you don't have blemishes.
