Capitalism is alive and well in India. I feel the greatest threat to India not assuming the status of a superpower is simply their cast system. Social elitism is a very powerful force and though many great strides have been made, the problem still exists.

Hopefully for the Indians. They are very gifted and intelligent people in my opinion. I use to work with some Indian people in a software development shop and they were really good. If only they could have a go at free enterprise and get rid of their cast system they could build a great nation.
