I laughed at my mom when she told me this, but honey does wonders. Nothing added just the honey that you put in tea or on biscuts I am not kidding. Usually apply the honey before bed, use a bandaid to cover the honey covered area so it doesn't get on your pillow. The little spot bandaids work best. It you have more then just a problem zit here and there on your face though I may try an egg white mask. I used to use egg whites as a mask in high school when my skin was pretty bad and it worked just as well as any of the masks that I would pay money for, just seperate the yokes from the whites and apply the whites directly to your face. One egg white is more than enough, per mask and it's safe to use everyday and won't affect sensitive skin. Hope these help! I know how acne can affect ones self esteem even if it isn't too bad. If your in your teens though it usually gets better into your twenties, at least it did for me!

aspirin contains salicylic acid- crush one up w/ a bit of water to make a paste. Let it dry. This helps open up the pore and exfoliate. Be gentle- never over do exfoliating because you will just irritate your skin and make the blemishes red. It is really best to leave them alone as much as you can- don't pick! Especially the ones under the surface. Hands off!
Do not use toothpaste- it dries out your skin terribly and creates more oily problems. If you are having serious skin problems you can go to a health food store and get herbs that are blood purifiers. Skin problems are usually caused by an internal problem.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

I usually use lemon or lime when I break out. Just cut the lemon in half and rub it where the acne is. Let it sit there for like 5 minutes and then rinse it off. If you have some of that neutrogena pore cleanser use that too. Then put lotion on your face.
But it won't disappear instantly, you need to keep doing it for a week, tops. And no makeup until and hour after cleansing!

Regular old soap. A good wash in the morning and a good wash in the evening. But you should know there is absolutely no cure for acne, there are just ways to minimize the amount.

it depends on the severity of the acne if you only have one or two then homemade remedies should suffice but nothing can replace benzoly peroxide excpecially if you have severe acne.

My friend tried mixing honey with lemon and leaving it on the face for 5-10 minutes then go wash the face. She said it works, but I never tried it.
