I'm 17, and she's 16. We have skipped a total of 15 days this school year, and her mother is upset, as would any mother would be, but should I be worried about a possible contributing to the delinquency of a minor charge?

No, when I was 17 I skipped school (one Class) about every other day with 2 15 year olds. If ur all under 18 ur all minors....

If the person has done something wrong and they are close enough to the age of 18 they can be punished as an adult. However I think the 17 would be charged with that on top of minor under the influence....trust me I know the system has weird ways of going about stuff

You are both minors. You will not be charged with anything regarding contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

You are both minors. You can be charged with truancy, delinquency, and possibly other charges. If you know that her mother is worried why do you continue to behave this way? Your future depends on your education. Someday soon you will regret your actions.

no I really don't a charge like that would stick at all... If you were 18 or more, maybe, 17, no. You are still a minor!

nope, you're good...but both of you should go to school. excessive truancy might lead to a cps call against the parents for ed neglect. the schools like to bust balls.
