Yes there is, around the Pine Barrens area, and is called the Jersey. Devil. Many people have seen it, When the 13th child was born to the Leeds family, the mother cursed it an said that she wished that is was the devil. It was, and one of the Leeds descendants did see it a few years back. I believe that the town was called Smithville. Go on line and look up Jersey Devil, there are several articles about it. Enjoy.
