First, I think Obama would make a great President. Unfortunately, there are too many factions in this country and too many people who dislike other races including blacks, Jews and many others. There are enough crazies among them to try and do anything, including attempted assasinations of political figures. It could happen to anyone, but Obama would be of more interest to those people becasue of his skin color. It would be another era of MLK, RFK, JFK killings. Sad but possibly true.
The U.S. has fallen on bad times.

the time is not right for a black president yet !!! Mind you , america is still a very very very very very racist country as we had seen how the blacks were treated / abandoned by the federal government during the Katrina fiasco. The White House is so-called White House because the founding father believed only whites should live in that house.

No....since 9/11, the security is a whole lot tighter than ever, and I'm sure the Secret Service doesn't consider skin color or nationality when they are assigned to protect someone.
