Will my income affect my boyfriends SSDI payments if we marry?

I am on ssdi and no it will not affect your payments. Unless it is ssi, which is the welfare program for people who did nto have enough quarter in to get it on their own. So dont worry get married. Good luck and congrats.

also--have you ever checked to work out in case you will get tips paying the medicare good cost as well as food stamps? SSDi advantages at the instantaneous are not stricken by technique of marriage. human beings in some states do get more effective than 710 in ssi--WITH A state supplement--yet in maximum states the supplement is less than 2 hundred.

A good question since I am on SSDI. SSDI is paid based on what you paid into the fund. I do no think it has to do with ones martial status. I am not sure, Check it out with your local SS office.
