Make absolutely sure that you get one that is designed for your specific vehicle.
I have this exact same truck (Z-71), and I just went to a local store and grabbed one that looked right and it wasn't, the cap I bought didn't vent properly, and I had a problem with my computer.
So a word of warning, go to a good auto parts store or the dealer.

I would buy a locking gas cap. Whatever the mechanism is that makes it so one can't siphon gas, someone will find a way to bypass it, and quickly.

Usually through a higher end Auto Supply place. If this fails,
try calling a Chevy Dealership near by or try an auto junk
yard....you may have to put another make's gas cap onto
your car with help from a welder if you want a locking one.
