Was a good player specializing in free kicks and great passes. But he is old now and a shadow of his former self. He doesn't even start at Real Madrid. Kind of lame the MLS is going after washed up old starts and payng them more than they would make in Europe even though they are no longer wanted. Tells alot about the MLS

AN English football(soccer) player that is very popular all over the world, it has been told that there is a statue of him in a temple in Thailand, saying that soccer is a religion. He has superb accuracy with his kicks and is probabaly one of the best shooters in the world. Of course, once he took a pk, and "shanked" it way over the crossbar. Beckham has also many crazy different hairstyles and was at his peak playin at manu thru the beginnin of real madrid, beckham has grown more "sluggish" as he gets older and is going to finish off good in the MLS. Beckham is a great English 31 year old football soccer player, who transferred from england to a spanish team Real Madrid just to benched and belittled by their dumb coach capello, who by the way is now recalling him to participate in the team.
He is coming to America to play for the LA Galaxy MLS USA. If anyone out there considers a 31 year old person OLD!!!
Beckham is a player who's own country has forgotten all the joys he gave them when playing for one of their leagues top teams Manchester United and for their own National team England.
Also, he was lucky to be born good looking and happened to marry on of the former member of the spice girls, who is pretty extravagant and stylish named Victoria.

Huh? You don't know who Beckham is? Even people who haven't seen a single football game know who he is. Even Americans know who he is. And like him or not, he performed really well during his time at Man United. Maybe not so much at Real Madrid but that's not all his fault.
I'm not a Beckham fan but I have to admit he has some unique skills that hopefully he'll show off again at MLS. Plus I like his dedication to encouraging children to play football and I like his "Really bend it like Beckham" DVD where he teaches football to young players. I have a copy.
