Well they lied to the american people - if we let it slide then others will do the same and we will end up with more wars and other atrocities - we have a duty to make sure our gov. is open and honest with us. As for what he did being a crime, I am not sure..

Ummmmm, that would be a no. With all the latest investigations inside the Pentagon, especially since 1998 and forward, there is no way that Bush could have known they were giving him BS information.

I mean, think of it. You are in the oval office and people from the Pentagon come in with Intel. Then the CIA...then another story from the FBI...then there's this list of bull, that you think is acctuate. After all...this intel came from field agents...CIA, FBI... you then gather your people together and you're asking questions. So, you take a couple of days to digest it, as well you should. In that time, you've introduced the bill for 'no child left behind.' You sitting in a classroom with many students and your agents come in and whisper in your ear..."they've just hit Twin Towers..." What kind of an expression would be on your face in front of a bunch of little kids? What would be the thoughts rushing through your mind? Should I get up and leave, and scare the kid or let these kids finish what they're reading?

I cannot fathom being in that situation, can you? Here you are, things are going wonderfully in the US then we get hit. My eyes would have been rolling around and I would be frozen to my seat, which is exactly how he looked when given the news.

With crappy Intel...comes crappy results. They didn't give Clinton the right information either...that's why the airstrikes missed.

Then, to top everything off, the Pentagon has civilians creating 'war plans' that are approved by the President..then given out to the generals. Civilians have NO PLACE in a war room. That should be reserved for the high ranking generals, no question.

No, I don't believe and never will believe that the administration lied to us...at least, not on purpose. I think GB apologized that he made mistakes...because he had final authority. But how do you, as a President pass the buck? It's only now, because he asked for the additional troops of 21,500 to finish this mission that Maliki did most certainly ask for. Congress is sitting on their "I want this kind of plane" behinds arguing about it, trying to pull them all out right now, and in the meantime more of our guys are buying the farm because they don't have what they need to cover their butts. That whole congress has gone crazy.

This is NOT the right time for congress to investigate the incident, and NOT the time for Pelosi to argue about having a bigger plane. Our guys (my family) is over in Iraq and they should be putting full attention to this war...not the size of a plane she wants. They can investigate later...and send the troops and finish that paperwork and lets get our guys home. This congress picks the stupidest times to investigate anything. That money needs to be approved, the vehicles need to be sent, and she's worried about a damn plane to fit her needs. BS.

Telling lies to the American public is not a war crime.
Killing tens of thousands of people who were not military in Iraq is a war crime.
Holding combatants after the war is over with no trial and no accusation of crime is a war crime.

There is a lot of evidence that many high ranking members of the bush administration have committed war crimes. It just depends on if you are willing to believe the truth or if it is so hard, since you are so invested in the lies, that you will refuse the acknowledge reality.

1) No. No one has committed war crimes.
2) It can't be proved because it didn't happen.
3) Even if true, it wouldn't be a war crime. Terrible, yes but not a war crime.

I don't think they have, but I can't say for sure. However, I do find it strange that people are so concerned about this issue than the war crimes committed by Sadam or the crimes that could be committed by Iran!

via fact the Bush hater you seem, you will desire to be incredibly desperate and pissed off to would desire to hotel to willful lack of knowledge and feeble spinning of the certainty. before everything maximum of your "lies" are completely bunk once you communicate the certainty of the subject. How can he have lied (meaning planned deception) if he replace into purely going via the intel that replace into presented to him? And he wasn't the only one. all the democrats that voted for the warfare observed a similar intel, all the ecu international locations have been given a similar intel. Even Saddam mentioned he intentionally lie to the worldwide into thinking he nonetheless had WMD via fact he needed Iran to concern him. So once you are going to attempt Bush for "warfare crimes" you would be able to to boot attempt the finished ecu Continent's leaders, and your Democratic friends in Congress. i'm no longer extremely joyful with Bush's overall performance interior the White domicile yet i do no longer hotel to stupidity, manipulation of information, and willful lack of knowledge such as you appear as if doing.
