I know that I've got to do this on my own , but all I need is a little help
just show me how to do these problems and that's all .

1. 7/8h - 5/8 = 2

2. ( x -17.7) + 19.6 = 27.8

3. -15.3 = - 7.5k + 55.2

(7/8h) * 8 - (5/8) * 8 = (2) * 8
7h - 5 = 16
7h = 16 + 5
7h = 21
(7h)/7=21/7
h = 3

( x -17.7) + 19.6 = 27.8
x - 17.7 = 27.8 - 19.6
x = 27.8 - 19.6 + 17.7
x = 25.9

OR you can ignore the brackets here, since it implies:
1*(x - 17.7) -> x - 17.7

-15.3 = -7.5k + 55.2
-15.3 - 55.2 = -7.5k
-70.5 = -7.5k
-70.5/-7.5 = -7.5k/-7.5
9.4 = k

you simply have to simplify

7/8h - 5/8 = 2 multiply everyting by 8
7h - 5 = 16

( x -17.7) + 19.6 = 27.8 multiply by 10 (move dec.)
x-177 + 196 = 178

-15.3 = - 7.5k + 55.2 multiply by 10
-153 = -75k + 552

you should be able to solve the simplified forms

7/8h = 2 5/8 (add 5/8 to both sides)
h = 3 (divide both sides by 7/8)

2.) (x - 17.7) + 19.6 = 27.8
x - 17.7 = 8 (subtract 19.6 from both sides)
x = 25.7 (add 17.7 to both sides)

3.) -15.3 = -7.5k + 55.2
-70.5 = -7.5k (subtract 55.2 from both sides)
9.4 = k (divide -7.5 from both sides)

1. first = add 5/8 to each side
7/8h = 2 5/8......multiply both sides by 8/7
h = (8/7) (21/8)......the eights cancel = 7 into 21
h = 3

2. Should be easy
why a parenthesis - doesn't appear to be needed
x + 1.9 = 27.8........subtract 1.9 from both sides

3. get the numbers on one side and the variable on the other
add 15.3 to both sides
add 7.5 k to both sides
divide by 7.5 - both sides
