I have downloaded and skimmed through the platforms of both parties and feel that they are both very similar and biased to their party and interest(as could be expected). I consider myself a right wing but with some leanings toward the left. If there is an article or other publication that simply explains what each party intends to accomplish and how they plan to do it please direct me to it.

Each party has strayed from their original intent. The great predecessors of each Party would scarcely recognize them today.
Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan would be ashamed at the weakness and political posturing of many in the GOP.
And who today could imagine a Democrat saying "Ask not what your Country can do for you, ask what you can do for your Country."

The Original intent of the Republican Party was Small Government. To Fascilitate rather than Interfere with Free Commerce. To promote Small Business. To Protect Life and Morality.

The Original Intent of the Democratic Party was at one time essencially the same yet with a more Socialist solution including more Government interferance and redistribution of wealth. The DNC has allowed itself to be highjacked by Special Interest and all manner of Degenerates including GLAAD, NAMBLA and the ACLU. They have also jumped on the profittable bandwagon of race baiting profiteering and exploitation with the NAACP and the Rainbow PUSH Coalition.

both parties are overtaken by special interest groups......besides that the only other differences is that DNC members are open about being gay, cheating on their spouses and having abortions, while GOP members are hipocrites who cry foul at everything mentioned before hand and yet they do the same behind close doors and when they get caught they say they were weak and failed a test put before them by God........

When the Democratic Party is in power, they tend to focus their spending on social needs(social security, minimum wage, healthcare) and the poor while the Republicans tend to spend more on defense and finding ways to help corporations and the rich.

Unfortunately there is not much difference any more.

True DNC believes you are too stupid to take care of yourself and need Big Brother to do it for you.
The money you make should be given to them so they can take care of it.

True GOP wants government to stay out of your life and leave your money alone.

Now days they all sound like DNC to me
