Get a job at a local rink doing whatever they need and keep at it
Get the drivers there to teach you to drive
Most NHL drivers have at least 10 years experience,
most a lot more
Once you have the experience, you can apply for a job with an AHL team and work your way up
The pressure in Philly is phenomenal
Nothing like 18,000 people booing you if you miss
So get right before you even think about it

Most icemakers learn on the job, I think. There are community college courses in Canada to learn icemaking/arena managment, but I doubt there's anything like that in the DC area.

volunteer some of your time at a local rink they might give you some lessons if you show an interest,it only take a few cleanings to figure it out

just go to any hockey rink and ask them or mabey they will say they you have to work for them
