I do not quite understand why. Not trying to be rude.

It's hormonal dude. However on the other hand it's the perfect time to air out issues as well. The only thing is it's challenging voicing out problems assertively and we women often act more aggressively during this time. It's difficult!! Your hurting physically and feeling teary-eyed. Just imagine a time in ur life when you felt really emotional or upset. Well, that's what it feels like. Luckily not all months feel that way (not for me anyway)and it also depends on the stress level in one's life as well. A nice massage always helps :o)

Funny how you phrase it...."emotional problems". Actually the reason women have ups and downs in their month is because of hormones. Hormones make it possible for women to have babies. If you would spend nine months knocked up I'm sure some woman might call you "emotional" too.....sorry so hard on you for that. Just try and understand it's usually out of her hands. And take her chocolate! :)

Changes in hormone levels, as well as some other body changes that make women moody, bloated, and very often in pain -- occasionally severe pain. It's really hard to be nice and perky during that!

Well, it doesn't feel good - so a lot of people get cranky, because they're in pain that they can't do anything about. Cramps and tenderness are not fun.

Hormones go a little out of whack, too.

Why do men have emotional problems 24 hours a day, 365 days a year?

we have all month long ,its such that time they come more to the surface ,and we can blame it on PMS .
that's one of the reasons i don't keep nothing inside ,when the time of the month comes i don't have much to complain, except cramp's .
remember some women take it to far .Midol don't fix bitchiness.
