Baby Dimetapp or Pediacare. Ask the pharmacist, they are behind the counter. They also make Tylenol Cold, but it's not recommended to give a baby Tylenol when he doesn't need it for pain/fever, etc. Also you could try Litte Ones nasal spray, it's just a saline spray to clear up sinuses.

Never give any child under 2 years of age anything without a doctors advice first. Try natural stuff first there is nothing you can really do for a cold though.

take him to an Emergency Room or pressing Care medical institution. i understand switching pediatricians is purely too plenty paperwork and worry so i'd purely circulate to the ER or pressing Care so which you will have yet another Dr.'s opinion. i do no longer understand what state you're in yet i understand in Ohio they no longer prescribe cough syrup to any young infants no remember their age, however the fever, rash and runny nostril {as long as that is eco-friendly or yellow and not sparkling; sparkling ability no an infection is recent} all 3 would desire to be taken care of for valuable! detrimental lil guy! prefer the suited for you and your son and need you the two get some nicely mandatory relax and relief quickly!

My daughter's doctor prescribed her Histex, a decongestant, to help her sleep better because the drainage was making her cough in her sleep and waking her up.
Also, try a vick's humidifier.
