I'm shipping from the USA. Oh, and can everyone please mention where they're shipping from, too?
Thanks!

I've been selling on eBay for 7 years. I'm in NJ and I ship all over the world. Most of my international customers are from Canada, England & Australia.

I've never had a problem with customs. Just fill out the forms correctly and you're good to go.

Shipping rates aren't that big a deal either. Just weigh your item and them go to usps.com and calculate the shipping cost. They'll give you 2 rates. One is for Airmail which takes 7-10 days (to most places) and the other is surface which can take up to 6 weeks. I give the buyer both prices and then let them decide.

Just make sure that in your listing you say that international shipping wil higher. Most people have enough sense to know this, but make sure you say it to cover your butt.

I have a file I can send you. It's all about eBay and how to have successful auctions. If you'd like it let me know. It's quite helpful. My e-mail is TGFann@yahoo.com

For someone in the us its normal to ship to just us or us,and canada or if your feeling nice us,canada, and mexico... but the shipping increases as you get farther away so usually worldwide isnt the best option

Most people dont ship outside their own country because of the hassle with customs regulations for each country plus it is harder to come up with the exact shipping cost.

I don't think "typical" is really relavent.

People ship according to their "target audience"

if you sell worldwide, then you ship worldwide
