Some community colleges may not require one. I think all universities require a diploma.

I think at the very least you need a GED if you don't have a diploma. SAT scores would probably help too!

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure all community colleges require one, also. Today you can't even get a job without one (except for part-time jobs like McDonald's). You even need one to be a Firefigher!
