In general I think most Americans are full of themselves in one way or another, we take the things we have in our country for granted and a lot of Americans tend to have really ignorant views. At the same time I still say I'm proud to be an American because we aren't all bad and I do think we do a lot of helpful things.

im british and i think americans are great.i dont know any americans personally but i have no reasons not to like them.they unite at troubled times and make the worlds best war films.i dont think much of the american goverment either but,then again,i dont think much of the british goverment.whoever say americans are arrogant and ignorant,selfish etc...are themselves ignorant.you get arrogance so on..in any country,not just america.we all have our praise and faults on anyone.but,my conclusion is that americans are as good as the rest of us.

Yanks are all right, but as with many other nations they have there faults. The U.K's biggest mistake was putting a labour government in power, shame on us.

Many of our perceptions are based on what we see in the movies but from working for an American company and with them I must say my perceptions changed and I have a lot of respect for them.

Are you talking as a whole or in parts?Before the Civil Rights Movement,this use to be a great nation,but if i had another country to go to,,id leave,mabbe to Africa, then they would call me a American African

many of them are really fake/two faced. racist, and realigious, and conservative. they say they have the democratic goverment and practice democracy - but in reality it's not true. the big brother is always watching. i hate the bureacracy and how the whole govermental system works.

They should travel more to other countries and see for themselves what the people are like, instead or relying on the media for information
