I want to go on AIM, but I don't want to download it. Is there a way to get on AIM without downloading? If you do, can you please tell me.

Hello blake f,

There are alternative IM software out there that still connects to the AIM, Y!M, MSN servers. In most cases they work slightly better and faster than the software that they want you to use.

For the Macintosh, there's Adium X that is able to connect to all of these servers (and more) all at once, so you can connect to all of your friends no matter what IM server they use.

On the Windows PC, there's Trillian, or Trilliam (I'm sorry, I'm a Mac user) that is the same type of thing. You do need to start up an account with these different servers, and in some cases, you may need to download the IM programs to sign-up, then you can toss them or at least un-install them.

Best of luck to you.

If you go on their website, there is a special feature called AIM Express, which allows you to use AIM without downloading it. But, if you have a pop-up blocker, you will have to disable it for that site or else it won't work.

you do no longer. you need to use iTunes. I receive my song by using limewire. Then I open up iTunes with my iPod linked and that i drag the songs from limewire into my iPod library on iTunes. it incredibly is user-friendly. yet you need to use iTunes to function the songs. good success!
