You've probably never been stabbed.
Apart from the immediate danger of damage to major organs, Lungs, Heart , Liver, Spleen or Kidneys depending on where you have been stabbed, the shock as blood volume is lost can kill you long before you bleed out.
If you survive to an emergency room, then there is further trauma as the surgeons have to open you up further to repair internal damage. You may a face loss of earnings from your employer while you are off work unless you have insurance and all the time you are wondering if the person who stabbed you will strike somewhere else or if they will be caught and what sentence they will get.
What a ridiculous question to ask. A feeble attempt to get a cheap laugh from a common phrase.
